New Trout Valley Members

Welcome New Members!
This page is just the beginning of everything Trout Valley has to offer!  There is a lot to explore in our community and we hope you'll get to enjoy all of it!

Trout Valley Newsletter

Weekly we send out a newsletter with updates for the neighborhood.  I've added your email address to this list.  If anyone else in your household would like to sign up they can do so here:
https://www.troutvalleyil.com/newsletter-signup.html

Trout Valley Community Address Book

We maintain a community address book on our website to make it easier for neighbors to get in touch with other neighbors.  To add yourself to the address book simply go here:
https://www.troutvalleyil.com/address-book.html

Trout Valley Association Maintenance and Grounds
Maintenance is here to keep the community operational and facilitates all maintenance on the property.  Should you run into something that needs attention please let us know.  Maintenance also provides wood chipping for small branches and brush you remove from your property - there are limitations and guidelines to this so we recommend reading up before you put out that brush!

Rules & Guidelines
The TVA does have bylaws and those bylaws do have defined rules about many things in our community.
Building Committee:  Before you change the exterior of your property, double check with the building committee here:  https://www.troutvalleyil.com/building-committee.html
No Posting Signs:  It is prohibited to post signs, including for sale signs and contractor signs.  Learn more here:  https://www.troutvalleyil.com/sign-posting.html
Golf Carts:  We are a golf cart friendly community, and here are some guidelines to follow:  https://www.troutvalleyil.com/golf-cartsutvs.html

Amenities
The association has a host of amenities available to you.  We  have a river front beach and park, a lodge available for rental, a barn banquet space for rent, a historic pool and so much more.  Browse through the pages here to learn about all of them!   https://www.troutvalleyil.com/amenities.html

Garbage Services

One of the most common questions we get is about setting up service.  The HOA does not provide this service or coordinate this service, each resident sets this up directly.  More details can be found here:
https://www.troutvalleyil.com/garbage-service.html

Trout Valley Homeowners Association

The Trout Valley Association is an HOA, and dues are dependent on the number of lots you own.  Single lot dues are $1,600 per year paid $800 on September 1st and $800 on March 1st.  We handle all invoices via email, and we've got this email address on file for you.  If you would prefer we use an alternate email please let us know.
The HOA is responsible for maintaining the roads throughout Trout Valley along with all of the common areas and amenities like the Barn and Lodge.  We have one employee, Chris, who you will see driving around in the Trout Valley truck doing most of the work.  Everything else is very much volunteer driven - our community pitches in to care for a lot of the green space in and around the Valley.

The Village of Trout Valley
There is also a Village of Trout Valley.  The Village covers all homes that are south of Country Commons Road.  You can learn more about the Village on our website here:  https://www.troutvalleyil.com/village.html
