Luminaria Sale
It has been a Trout Valley tradition since the 1960’s to line our roadways with “luminaria” on Christmas Eve. We hope you will join us and continue this tradition. This year has been unprecedented, so now, more than ever, we could all use a little extra light
Sale Information:
Saturday, December 12th, 2020
9:30AM – 12:30 PM
At the Trout Valley Barn
How many should I get?
The Questers have records of the quantities used for each lot in past years, so you don’t have to try to remember from year to year. Sand will be available behind the barn the week before Christmas, but you may also purchase bags of Play Sand at local hardware stores.
How do I put them out?
When this tradition started, luminaria were spaced 8 – 10 ft. apart. We highly encourage this spacing for more consistency throughout the Valley. We also recommend lining the roadways only. The Jacobson Family, Laura, Jeff, Logan and Kaleb, have offered their services to set-up, light and clean up the candle kits if you want to participate, but are unable to prepare your luminaria, or will not be at home.
What else is for sale?
Available for sale this year are “Scenes of Trout Valley” note cards, the 2021 Trout Valley Calendar and the community cookbook.
Luminaria kits – 6 candles, 6 bags: $6.00
Luminaria set-up, light and clean up- per kit: $8.00
2021 Calendars: $10.00
Note cards – box of 8 cards/envelopes: $10.00
TV Cookbooks: $5.00
What do the Questers do with the sales?
By supporting the Luminaria Sale, purchasing calendars, note cards and cookbooks, you are also giving back to our Trout Valley community. Proceeds from these sales over the years have allowed us to make contributions to preserve our historic barn and pool. This fall, Questers donated the funds to repair the stone wall at the pool.
All COVID-19 CDC Guidelines will be enforced. Watch the newsletter and Facebook pages for more details to come. Online orders will be available and order delivery services to your front door. The Leona Farms Questers thank you for your continued support.
